Excursion in Ossola Valley

An unusual Saturday at the open air… No crowded shopping centres, but relaxation and nature, far away from chaotic daily routine! A pleasant walk to explore the Ossola Valley. Excursion along the famous “Linea Cadorna”, a path along a fortification system which during the First World War should defend the Northern Italian border. Then visit of the Old Marble Quarry of Ornavasso and Shrine “Madonna del Boden”. A Saturday out of the ordinary to relax and to have fun together!
When: on Saturdays, at 9 a.m.
Where: meeting and departure from Migiandone – Ossola Valley (VB)
What to bring: comfortable clothes, hiking boots, a warm sweater, water and snack
Length: full-day, with about 2.30 hours easy walk (height difference about 295 metres – 970 ft)
Price: € 49,00 per person – minimum number of participants 6 people
Included: natural guide service and support, entrance ticket for the Old Quarry, AMI insurance
