April 25th 2012 - All aboard the sailboat

After the success of last year, the Arona section ofItalian Naval League proposes “Sentieri d’acqua 2012“: a day during which the local sailing organizations invite the public to board the sailboat for a free tour of Lake Maggiore.

The event takes place on Wednesday 25th Aprilon the lakeside of Arona.

The spirit of the day is to promote a tourist, sporting and zero impact use of the waters of Lake Maggiore; this event has been chosen to present the “Italian registry of the solar boat”: boats propelled by a motor electric powered by solar panels.

In case of rain the event will be repeated on 1st May.
